Antivirus + Gygan

If your Antivirus app is flagging Gygan as some kind of virus then we want to know.

Gygan is 100% virus/adware/spyware/etc free. Some antivirus apps are just too sensitive and falsely flag Gygan.

hi i downloaded gygan and it worked but then avg got a malware i tryed to download again but the same thing so what can i do>?

You can tell AVG to ignore Gygan. If that doens't work then disable AVG, then install Gygan to a different folder.

So you want the users to post the Antivirus programs and 'flags' (and screenshots'), so you can do what?

My software, which I certainly will not be telling you the name of, or providing 'screenshots'; flagged a small file in your upload (my dowload of your program) as possible Malware.

To be honest with you, that is good enough for me, all the other software that I run on my computer (from reputable vendors), strangley enough, doesn't get flagged as having problems.

Please leave the Web, we do not require your services or are interested in downloading extremely poor quality Videos.

Remove me from your database (including the Email list) immediately.

I think there is some confusion on what you believe to be the issue.

Gygan is asking you to let them know of the Anti Virus that is flagging Gygan (the program) as a virus, because its not! Its just a client that offers upload and download for newsgroups with a lot of neat additions like streaming abilities. Anti Virus's can easily find false positives...you can contact your Anti Virus maker and they will say the same thing.

Gygan would take your screen shots and then contact the maker Anti Virus maker to get them excluded from whatever definition is causing the false positive. This is a process that many of your "reputable vendors" have already gone though.

Also, Gygan itself provides you with no videos, it is the uploaders just like you...and the quality is great though dependent on the community so its possible to get a bad one.

As well, the "download" itself has nothing to do with this process...only the program Gygan.

I have given you an honest view from someone that understands technology.

why can i not download my gygan

my antivirus flags it as a virus.

its flagged as TROJAN.GEN by Norton anit-virus on multiple occasions

id like to know why it makes me suspicious especially since i downloaded the patch that was supposed to fix this error
