Why blame the service? It's all user uploaded content.

I just started - completely new. No problems getting going but really screwed with my first download. A 1.3GB '*****', with scrn caps shown online and a running time to the DVD [sic] of about 1hr40min is an .avi with NO MOVIE, NO AUDIO - JUST STILL PICTURES!!! A complete scam. The scrn caps are the still pictures in this 'video', including the final still of credits. So here's for the company: The beta free user gets 2GB A MONTH and you have scam uploads, one which negates my trial and certainly behooves me from ordering so what's to do? How is this fixed AND STOPPED? I'm not about to pay for a service I can't try and is useless.

Oh, btw, the download was marked verified by the service, which also hosted the scrn caps and other convincing information that determined my download choice.

Sorry but I read in the rules to not say any specific file names. I did find a wonderful post that said how to leave comments on files; which can only be left or read online, not in the application which would be an excellent feature. Thanks to that post I paid it respect by posting a warning comment on the file before signing off yesterday morning (regardless of where I am I count internet time by Washington time, the American Capitol). This morning the file appears to have dropped off the first page of my 'all media search' list, I'm not hunting past that point, so the comment appears to have helped others as yesterday morning it was at the top . I'm now checking online details for comments myself; but I see no Gygan response nor bandwidth credit and I don't know how to pursue a remedy. That was why I posted, hoping for company feedback and remedy. Maybe they're off for Independence weekend. Oh well. I'm trying other downloads. :? :?:
Oh, and the file 'plays' fine in WMP10, it's just not a ***** as it was made to appear, rather it's a screen saver or slideshow but in .avi format and HUGE! Go figure.

I know what you mean, I have tried in vain to get a file called "four Lions" for weeks now, and each time i download it, i get a message saying "invalid codec" and it redirects me to a website that says i must purchase this software to play the aforementioned file.

I have downloaded at least 4 different copies of it, and it always has another word after avi. something like Imagine, ekolb, etc

Can anyone help?

I was pretty impressed with the speed and quality of the download, but gutted to find the only soundtrack was not English.
I can't see anything on the details in most of the descriptions to identify which language the downloads are in.
